“Started from need, designed with heart, improved to last.”
This is the story of Breden and this is the story of our every product. Children need comfort, parents need certainty and their needs are our inspiration.
We take Breden as a journey where to learn, teach, inspire and have fun – appreciating every step of the way.
While enjoying the road we are focused on giving our professional best in everything we do – so that you could have your peace of mind that everything your child wears is with high quality, functional and safe.
We believe that any company who wants to be part of the future must turn its face to the outside. At Breden we want to prove that you can have a positive impact on your profit while having a beneficial influence on the society as well.
For us, opening our hearts to others, means:
• Giving back. We are long-time supporters of Tallinn’s Children’s Hospital Support Fund, and our Giving Back List is constantly growing. From children’s camps to big families – we are always keeping an eye out for reasons and occasions to provide a helping hand (and a hat).
• Finding a balance between economy and the ecosystem. We say NO to overproduction and YES to minimizing production residues.
• Providing a fun and healthy work environment.
The Fit – we follow the children’s needs. All our products are tested on living and playing children and not on little mannequins. Only fits that truly work make their way to our collections.
The Colours – no matter how small, everyone always has their own taste. That is why Breden makes something for every wardrobe – either it’s a calm Scandinavian vibe or a colourful take on a crazy-geometrical pattern.
We always and only produce ethically.
Whether it is a scorching summer, windy autumn, freezing winter or that long-awaited-for spring, with Breden you can be sure that your little adventurer will be wearing the right-looking and right-feeling garment for the season.
And to celebrate the versatile weather of our northern country, we also offer a special product (with merino wool) for that moody middle season we get quite a lot.
Breden’s clothing come with unique and easy to follow temperature labels. That means that all our clothes are tagged with necessary info about the most suitable temperature and season for their wear.
We know that knowing what and when to wear is especially important when it comes to headwear. That is why we want to give you a peace of mind that your child is always suitably dressed and stays healthy.
Our temperature labelling is unique in the entire region and helps you make choices in a quick and easy way.
Whether it is a cute beanie or a lovely earflap hat, you can always match it with a tube scarf or a triangle scarf in a same or a complimenting colour.
We only use high quality fabrics and seams. All our fittings are tested on children, so you will get a piece of clothing that looks good, feels good and lasts.
Since our office is located in Europe, we are strictly keeping all our contractors – from fabrics and fittings to the production team – in this region.
We believe that production forms the core of a brand. Every customer should know how, where and by whom their products are made.
At Breden Textiles paramount effort goes into creating a safe and healthy work environment for our production team. Our space has been designed together with and following the needs of our seamstresses, fitters and finishers. As a result, everyone works in bright, user-friendly and modern workspace with high quality machines.
Every product in Breden Kids collection is made by a person who is earning fair wages. This gives us the peace of mind that at the end of the month everyone stays happy, healthy and safe.
Organic cotton is grown without the use of toxic pesticides or fertilizers. Some of those chemicals are amongst the most dangerous toxins in the world. If you’d like to keep them off your plate, you’d sure want to keep them off your skin as well.
Choosing to go all organic benefits you by:
- Guaranteeing that the clothes you and your loved ones wear are free from anything harmful (nickel, lead, etc.);
- Helping to make sure no allergies get aggravated;
- Feeling softer on your skin;
Organic cotton is also friendlier towards our planet:
- Healthier working conditions are provided on the smaller, non-GMO farms;
- Nothing dangerous ends up in the soil because of the production;
- Organic farming has a much lower carbon footprint;
Organic cotton also comes in different standards. The highest standard in the world is GOTS – the Global Organic Textile Standard.
Breden’s future aim is to become all GOTS. That is why we are using only GOTS certified 100% organic cotton in our collections already.
By choosing GOTS certified fabric, you are investing in:
A healthy way of thinking. Everyone involved in the making of our fabric – from the seed planters to the fiber dyers – are working in good conditions and earning their fair wages.
A healthy way of growing. Absolutely every fiber and dye used in these fabrics is free of anything dodgy that might harm your child or our planet.A healthy way of producing. GOTS makes sure that the minimum amount of damage gets done to the planet during the entire production process. Only the very necessary amount of water and electricity gets consumed during the process.
When you spend most of your day (well, life) in a certain place, it better be inspiring and motivating!
We love challenges and the feeling of success that comes from conquering them. Breden is a place where the best in you can shine brightly, and where the need to grow and learn gets supported. In here, you can become the superstar of your own life!
If this rings true to you, get in touch and tell us how you would like to make our world a happier and a healthier place.
