HAT-SCARVES / BALACLAVAS
Breden’s one piece hat-scarves combine the functional features of balaclava hats and the cute look of a hat and scarf. It’s a hat with a scarf attached! Good kids have many names, so depending on where you’re from, you might know a hat-scarf as schlupfmütze or kypärämyssy. It can be worn however you like, as a scarf or as a mask and the elongated front and back details keep the neck and chest warm. Therefore it’s safe to say, Breden’s hat-scarf is “kindergartenproof”. And yet another reason to convert to “hat-scarf-ism” is how kids love to put it on and take it off by themselves.
There is a hat-scarf for every season. Double-cotton hat-scarves were born to rock the spring-autumn weathers of moderate temperatures such as +5 to +15°C (41 to 59°F). Thinner merino lining comes in handy when it’s a bit chillier, let’s say +5 to -7°C (41 to 19.4°F). Thicker hat-scarves mean business and their merino and micro-fleece linings fight the chills of temperatures of -7 and colder (19.4°F). By the way, all Breden’s hats, scarves and hat-scarves have little info labels sewn in, to suggest the proper wearing temperature.
All Breden’s hat-scarves are designed and made in Estonia, with love and care.
